HVAC and AC repair in Fresh Meadows.
Fresh Meadows is post-war single-family houses mixed with big garden co-op complexes. A lot of those homes were built without ducts, so many apartments cool with older room units while the detached houses on the side streets run central air.
The garden co-op complexes off the Long Island Expressway and Horace Harding Expressway were built without ducts. When a unit there is done, a ductless mini split is usually the better upgrade, and we can often route the line set through the same wall opening once the board signs off.
The detached capes and colonials a few blocks away are the opposite. Condenser on a pad at the side of the house, forced-air furnace in the basement, ductwork that has been in place since the house was built. Same neighborhood, two completely different repair kits.
That split is why our truck carries both ductless mini split parts and central system parts. We live and work out of here, so this is the shortest drive we make.
Fresh Meadows is our home base, so the drive is a few blocks.

What working in Fresh Meadows actually looks like.
Parking is the quiet advantage here. Most of the side streets have driveways and open curb space, so we are not circling the block with a compressor in the back of the truck. That shaves real time off a visit, and it is part of why a Fresh Meadows call can often be squeezed into the same day when the schedule allows.
Because this is the home base, the early-morning and evening slots are more flexible in Fresh Meadows than anywhere else we cover. A 7 AM start before work or a late-day look after a co-op board approves a mini split install is usually workable here. Sunday appointments run 9 AM to 4 PM. We are closed Saturday.
