Sizing is the part most installers get wrong.
An oversized air conditioner cools the thermostat fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull humidity out of the house. You end up with a cold, clammy living room and a compressor that starts and stops all day. Undersized, and it runs forever on the worst afternoon and still never catches up.
So we do not just read the tonnage off the old rusted data plate and order the same thing. Square footage, insulation, window exposure, ceiling height, and how the ductwork is actually run all change the answer. Sometimes the old unit was wrong from the day it went in.
If your system has years left, we will tell you.
He has talked people out of replacements. That is not a sales line, it is just how the business has run since 2015. If the condenser is fifteen years old but healthy and the fix is a fan motor, the fix is the right call and you should keep your money.
When replacement is the right move, we lay out the options plainly: what each piece of equipment costs, what it does differently, and what the install involves. We work with Carrier, Bryant, Rheem, Trane, Amana, and Lennox. No pressure, no same-day-only pricing games.
What a clean install includes.
Proper evacuation and a verified charge, not a guess off the gauges. Correct line set sizing, brazed connections, a level pad, service clearance around the condenser, and a drain with a working safety switch. The thermostat gets paired and tested with you standing there.
Removal and disposal of the old equipment is part of the quote. So is a walkthrough at the end covering filter changes and what to watch for. Every install is covered by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
